THE BACKGROUND
Interior Design Students Saturday is a yearly event initiated by MSID,with the participation of all the Interior Design colleges and universities in Malaysia. The inaugural event was held in 1991 as SATU Interior Design Students Saturday in UiTM Shah Alam. Since then it is has been held annually and the hosting rotated among the participating schools/ colleges/universities.
It has been an excellent exposure to students.In addition to learning social skills, it has also provided healthy competition that challenges their creativity and innovation. Thus broadening their outlook.
THE INTRODUCTION
The Interior Designer Students Saturday is an event created by MSID in order to reach out to future designers to realize their role in the society and to bridge the gap among students from various interior design schools, colleges and universities in the country.
